Why can you trust us?
• We're open source. Wrapped for Instagram is an open-source project, so the code is publicly available for anyone to inspect. Click here to verify it yourself.
• We don't ask for your Instagram password. Unlike other Instagram Wrapped websites, we never ask for your Instagram username or password.
• Your data doesn't contain login credentials. The data you provide contains your Instagram activity statistics, not your login credentials.
• Your data is processed locally. Your data is processed directly in your browser. We don't upload or store your Instagram data on our servers.
How to get your Instagram data?
- Open Instagram.
- Go to your profile and click on the three bars in the top right corner.
- Click on Account Center and then Your information and permissions.
- Click on Export your information and then click on Create export.
- Select Export to device.
- Select the format as JSON (Very Important) and set the media quality to lower quality. Keep everything else the same, or the wrapped will not work.
- Click on Start export and enter your password if asked.
- That's it! Instagram will prepare your data for you. This can take around 30 minutes. When your data is ready, follow the same steps again and download the zip file.
- Once you have the file, click the button below.

Recently, there's been a scam app that allegedly phished your Instagram credentials and provided false data.
In response to this, I've decided to build a safe and privacy-centered version of Wrapped for Instagram after having build Wrapped for TikTok earlier this year (see press coverage).
This version of Wrapped for Instagram is open-source and uses your Instagram data export to generate your stats instead of asking for your login credentials.
